     HUMMER is an American company, which is a part of the Concern "General Motors". That Concern specializes in producing huge powerful rovers with improved accommodation capacity. Hummer cars are produced in the UAW facility, which is on the estate of the company AM General, in the town of Mishawaka, Indiana. The history begins with a shortage of American military vehicles. In the summer of 1979, the American company "AM General" began its own business of creating cars with improved accommodation capacity. The program was designated HMMWV M998, which stands for "High mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle model 998" and is pronounced as "Hamm-vi".
     The name "HUMMER" was born out of these circumstances. In fact, Hummer is a rebranding name for the civilian vehicle based on the first military car HMMWV. Sometimes it is said that "Hummers" is an inaccurate name for the army HMMWV due to the active advertising of the brand and the unusual cars. The brand was born as a result of the conversion efforts of the military rover HMMWV M998 (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle). As a shortening, another name can be derived (HUMVEE).
     From 2006 to 2009, the assembly of Hummer H2 and H3 took place. Since 2010 and up to now, Hummer has been produced by the Chinese company called "Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co". They also produce a model called DongFeng Warrior.
